When you signup for Austin's drum lessons, you won't just learn how to play the drums. Instead you'll learn to love to play the drums with a patient teaching style, and stuff for you to do at home, even if you don't have a drum set.
You'll learn basic stuff like posture, stick positioning, the names of all the drums, how to read drum music, and then move on to making basic beats and incorperating all four limbs doing different parts of the same beat. Students will also learn many different drum rudiments with different books suggested by the teacher. You can learn virtually any genre, so you'll be rockin' to your favorite tune in no time.

Lessons are just $10/Half Hour
This includes full private instruction on Austin's 5-Piece drumset with tons of extras, a free pair of drumsticks for the drumstickless, many exercises for the student to do at home (Even if they don't have a drumset), and suggestions on equipment to buy to further the student's learning.
House Calls:
Austin can come to your house and give you instruction on your own drumkit as well. House calls are $10/lesson plus Gas
About the Teacher
Austin Carney is a 15-year-old drummer who has been playing for over 5 years. He drums for the Squalicum High School Jazz Band and is on the Drumline. Austin also plays at Hillcrest Chapel and at its Youth Group Services. He has three years of experience playing snare and percussion in the Whatcom Middle School Band as well. Austin is in several garage bands, and does solo project albums. Austin is a kind and patient teacher who knows what it is like to learn to play drums. Why pay more for a professional when you can get virtually the same beginner instruction from Austin for less?
